Iced Cholesterol Balance with lime
The after-dinner blend, brewed double-strength and poured over ice. Lemongrass and mint do the work; a squeeze of lime finishes it.
01 You need
- 2 teaspoons Cholesterol Balance
- 250 ml water just off the boil
- A tall glass of ice
- Half a lime
- A sprig of fresh mint
02 Method
- 01Steep two teaspoons in 250 ml of hot water, covered, for six minutes. Stronger than usual, because the ice will dilute it.
- 02Strain into a jug and let it cool for a few minutes.
- 03Fill two glasses with ice, pour the tea over, and squeeze in the lime.
- 04Add the mint and drink within the hour; lemongrass is brightest when fresh.
No sugar, no honey. Cinnamon and fennel carry enough sweetness.
