01 Why surgeons ask
Some herbs can affect clotting or blood sugar around an operation. Ginger, fenugreek and cinnamon all appear on the lists anaesthetists use, usually in supplement doses rather than food amounts, but the safe path is to follow their instructions.
02 What to do
List the blend and its ingredients on your pre-operative form, exactly as printed on the pack. If they say stop, stop, and restart after your follow-up.
